MILLER-ST. NAZIANZ ACQUIRES
SPRAY-AIR TECHNOLOGIES

ST. NAZIANZ, WI (April 30, 2007) -- Miller-St. Nazianz, Inc. today announced that it has purchased from Spray-Air Technologies Ltd. the technology and manufacturing rights to its agricultural sprayer products, including the patented Spray-Air Shear GuardTM PLUS Nozzle technology. The acquisition will strengthen Miller’s already comprehensive line of self-propelled and pull-type spraying equipment, while opening several new lines of distribution for Miller’s existing products through Spray-Air and their current dealers.

Miller manufacturers a full line of spraying equipment including the Nitro and Mechanical Drive self-propelled units, the Center Ride floater chassis, and a line of pull-type sprayers. Spray-Air, based in Carseland, Alberta, is an industry leader in applying air delivery spraying technology to self-propelled and pull-type machines.

Steve Pesik, Miller’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, anticipates great benefits to manufacturing and distributing the Spray-Air field sprayers and air technology. “This investment allows us to further complement our extensive line of spraying equipment by merging the Spray-Air Trident TM Boom technology with our rear-boom Mechanical Drive sprayer as early as this summer and our Nitro front-mounted boom machines next year. We are also excited to incorporate Spray-Air’s wider non-air conventional Advantage Series booms into our self-propelled and pull-type line-up. Miller now has the ability to immediately extend boom length offerings on the Mechanical Drive to 120’ by using Spray-Air’s Advantage Series boom.”

Randy Faulkner, President and CEO of Spray-Air, predicts significant opportunities for Spray-Air dealers and Miller as a result of this new agreement. “As a result of our sprayer now being manufactured by Miller, the Spray-Air product line will benefit from Miller’s quality Research & Development, manufacturing efficiencies, synergies with the existing Miller application products, and overall greater exposure through a larger, global distribution network and marketing reach.”

Spray-Air will continue to manufacture the GrainMax Swing Away augers along with the snow/ice and roadside application systems. It will continue to operate the Material Handling Division that builds and maintains bulk fertilizer plants and sells fertilizer handling equipment as well as to continue its industrial manufacturing, custom fabrication and welding services from its Carseland, Alberta fabrication facility.

MILLER APPLICATION TECHNOLOGIES PRODUCTS

New Miller Condor Sprayers
Miller Application Technologies has added a series of new mechanical drive row crop sprayers to its application products line. The new Miller Condor is best characterized for its extreme heavy duty design and construction. From the frame to the axles to steering and suspension, the Miller MD is built to handle continuous rugged application work.

The Miller Condor is an ideal machine for farm operators as well as custom applicators. It has the size, the power, the capacity and overall productivity to cover big acreage. Its backbone is a high strength frame with built-in flex, that along with the suspension system, keeps all wheels on the ground and working. All models have air ride suspension with automatic leveling on the 2 larger models.

Three units make up the series — Models MD850, MD1000 and MD1200. Product tank sizes range from 850 to 1200 gallons, available in poly or stainless. Cummins Tier III engines range from 173 hp to 275 hp with turbo charging, air to air after cooling and electronic fuel injection. Fuel tanks range from 80 to 120 gallons accessible from the ground. The MD1000 and MD1200 models can be filled from either side of the machine.

Miller Condor models are designed for maximum operator efficiency, comfort and control. The spacious cab has a panoramic view to the front and to the sides even with booms folded. Hood design provides a clear line of vision to crops and the front tires. Miller rear mount booms are available from 60 to 100 feet. Raven rate control systems are standard.

The mechanical drive system is rugged, reliable and fuel efficient. Turning radius is exceptional at 15 feet. Wheel spacing of 120 to 150 inches is independently adjustable. Front wheels can be set differently than rear wheels to reduce compaction. Crop clearance ranges from 42 to 48 inches, depending on the model.

The model MD850 has a 4 speed powershift transmission with speeds up to 29 mph. The MD1000 and MD1200 have Allison automatic transmissions. The MD1000 has a 5 speed transmission with speeds up to 36.6 mph, and the MD1200 has a 6 speed transmission with speeds up to 41.7 mph.
